iOS must be so familiar to most of high-tech users, but how much do we know about it, and have we taken the most advantages of this application? Maybe the following information can partly help.

iOS, formerly known as the iPhone OS, is Apple's mobile operating system used to run the popular iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Apple TV and similar devices. This official name, “iOS” was first known in June 7th, 2010 to reflect the operating system’s evolving support of additional Apple devices, that is, because its previous name seemed to be unsuitable for the present when iPhone was no longer the unique device to run iOS. Since the release of this operating system, there have been over 300,000 iOS applications available for download in the Apple app store, the most popular app store of any mobile device. . iOS utilizes a multi-touch interface where simple gestures are used to operate the device, like swiping your finger across the screen to move to the next page or pinching your fingers to zoom out.  Until now, iOS has gone through multiple updates, with recent updates adding the ability to create folders for app icons and the ability to multi-task. Obviously, Apple is fully aware that iOS users are generally updating very quickly, even within the iterations over the current generation of operating system. Nevertheless, this manufacturer really has a sharp mind when realizing that his customers will easily get bored with iOS because, to be fair, the platform hasn’t really changed much since it was introduced back in 2007. And iOS 6 was launched as a stirring trick.

iOS 6 with iOS 6 Beta 2 IPSW

iOS 6 was released together with many beta versions, and iOS 6 Beta 2 comes as a delta update available to those running the prior beta build through OTA (Over the Air) update and weighs in around 300MB. Beta 2 IPSW appears on Apple’s Dev Center, and focuses on bug fixes, but one change to be immediately noticeable is the new spinning gears animation when an over-the-air update is installing. Like all other iOS 6 beta, iOS 6 Beta 2 IPSW is of features as follows:

 ← A new Share screen

In iOS 5, when you tap to share a photo, you get a long list of sharing actions to choose from—whether it’s posting to Twitter, sending an email or iMessage, or some other option.  iOS 6 adds Facebook sharing as an option. Instead, iOS 6 presents you with a new, icon-based sharing screen. It uses icons to represent the apps and services that you can share your content with and looks quite a bit like the iPhone’s home screen.

 ← Introducing Passbook

Passbook is Apple's new e-tickets app, enabling users to carry electronic tickets for anything from sports events to plane travel, or to have a digital loyalty card.

← iOS 6 has an improved phone app

The revised phone app offers smart reminders, so for example you can reject a call with a message saying you're busy, on your way, lost in a forest... You can also be reminded to call someone back when you leave your current location. If you wish, you can also tell your iPhone not to silence calls from a list of favourite callers, or to automatically silent repeat calls from the same person.

← iOS 6 has Facetime over 3G

← New Siri functionality

That Flagship with many preeminent features are added to Siri brings users many benefits. Siri also gains the ability to answer questions about sports and movies in iOS 6, and it will be integrated with turn-by-turn directions in Maps.
In iOS 6, you’ll be able to compose new tweets and Facebook status updates with Siri—and both capabilities appear to be implemented smartly.

← Spotlight tweak

If you have lots of apps, sometimes it’s hard to figure out precisely which homescreen they’re located on. In iOS 6, Spotlight will be your helpful assistant by listing the name of the folder a particular app is nestled inside when it appears in the search results.

← iOS 6 photo sharing is more selective

Instead of sharing everything with everyone, you can choose which photos should be shared with which people should be tagged.

← iOS 6 has Facebook integration
Apple promises "the best Facebook integration ever in a mobile device".
← iOS 6 has guided access for children
Have you ever had your phone interfered by your kids? I guess this’s extremely irritating. The new Guided Access feature enables you to disable certain parts of the screen so that children can't accidentally hit the wrong buttons.
